Meet Our Teachers

As mathematics teachers we bring more than 150 years of subject specific experience. We also bring a wide variety of experiences from outside of the classroom. We are parents, coaches, and have worked in other professions. We have lived in other countries, speak different languages and shared in other cultures. These experiences and more, help to infuse the learning environment in our classrooms with rich diversity and broadened perspectives as we share our love of learning mathematics.
Mr. Eric Bondy Teaching since 2017 Joined St. André Bessette in 2021 Other involvements at school include Math Help and football. "The name is Bondy, Mr. Bondy."
Mr. Greg Bowden Teaching since 2007 Joined Saint André Bessette in 2014 Other involvements at school include Math Help, volleyball, badminton and Mathem Addicts. Hobbies: factoring, volleyball, running and curling.
Mrs. Stacey Di Ciocco Teaching since 2004 Joined St. André Bessette in 2015 Other involvements at school include Academic Awards, Prom Committee and Math Help. I have one son and one daughter. Hobbies: cooking, entertaining, music, reading and golf. "I teaching math!"
Mr. Mark Duffy – Dept. Head Teaching since 1993 in Malaysia, Minnesota and Ontario Joined St. André Bessette in 2014 Other involvements at school include coaching Cross Country Running, Eco Team and Mathem Addicts. Favourite math word: Asymptote "I know a good math joke, but I'm 2² to say it."
Ms. Laura Farquhar Teaching since 2005 Joined Saint André Bessette in 2022 Other involvements in school are assisting at Math Help, teaching the Numeracy Class and helping with the School Musical.
Ms. Ellen Hargraves Teaching since 2019 Joined Saint André Bessette in 2023 Other involvements at school include assisting at Math Help and teaching the Numeracy Class. I am excited to be apart of the Bulldog family!
Mr. Marco Lorusso Teaching since 2022 Joined Saint André Bessette in 2022 Other involvements in school include coaching and managing the Senior Football team.
Mr. Mike Reati Teaching since 2008 Joined Saint André Bessette in 2016 Other involvements at school include junior boys' football, and junior and varsity boys' hockey. "I have a statistics joke but it's not significant."

Mr. Andrew Snyders Teaching since 2004 A Saint André Bessette original staff member in 2013 Other involvements at school include answering everyone's technology questions. Plays guitar and is a founding member of the teacher band "Rushed"
Mr. Sean Pynaert Teaching since 1999 Joined Saint André Bessette in 2023 Looking forward to sharing his passion for running through school activities like 'Learn to Run'. "I had an argument with a 90° angle.* It turns out it was right."*
