The SAB Construction Specialist High Skills Major program focuses on various areas of the Construction industry.

These include:

•Residential Sectors: new build, additional dwelling units, renovations and multi-family.

 

•Residential Constructions: building, remodeling and renovating.

 

•Finish Carpentry: secondary machining, design/blueprints, building, finishing and installations.

 

•Skilled Trade Business: owning/operating, quoting/estimates and health & safety.

 

•CNC Wood Techniques: software introductions, designing and CNC machining.

 

These courses are part of the regular 30 credit requirement for graduation.

 

Students will receive a special "Red Seal" designation on the Diploma.

 

This designation can help students make choices to post-secondary opportunities including Apprenticeship, Colleges and Universities.
