Guidance counsellors are available by appointment only. Students can fill out appointment slips in the guidance office. For parent consultations please email counsellors directly to arrange a phone call.

Course changes are very limited this year and must be for important academic reasons only. They are subject to availability and most will not be possible at this time. Reasons for a course change to be considered are:

- missing a prerequisite for any course

- did not take a summer school course as planned and need it added to your timetable

- did take an unplanned summer school course and need to replace it in your timetable

- course required for post-secondary plans

- pathway change (I.e. academic to applied).

Please see your guidance counsellor if a change is necessary.

Transcript Requests and Payment

Ontario Student Transcript Request Procedures for Past Students

To obtain an Ontario Transcript from Saint André Bessette Catholic Secondary School, former students are asked to follow the process below. The cost of one transcript is $15 (additional copies $5 each).

Steps:

1. Print off and complete the transcript request form found here: FORM 3: REQUEST FOR STUDENT TRANSCRIPT

2. Complete payment via school cash online. Click here to pay.

3. Either scan, or hand deliver the completed copy of the request form and proof of payment to the following email: [email protected]

Please allow 5-7 business days to process the transcripts, upon receipt of required forms noted above.

Parents may request a transcript for their student only if the student is under the age of 18. Due to Privacy Laws, we cannot provide transcripts to third parties for students over the age of 18. Adults over the age of 18, who need someone else to pick up their transcripts for them may provide authorization directly to the Guidance Office

*Form must be completed, and payment received before transcripts will be released.

· Transcripts will be provided in sealed envelopes if requested.

· The school does NOT fax or forward transcripts directly to colleges, universities or other third parties.

· Photo I.D. is required to pick up transcripts.

Enrollment Letters and Other Requests for Written Documents

Parents of current students may request a Letter of Confirmation of Enrollment or other needed documentation by contacting the Guidance Office.
