Arrival of Students
Walkers and students being dropped off can enter the building at 7:45am. All doors will be locked until 7:45am. Students are expected to sanitize their hands when entering the school and must have their mask on. Social distancing is expected throughout the entire day.
Staff will use swipe card to enter the building.
Busses will pull up to entrance H (South Side of School) . Doors will be propped open and students will be unloading one bus at a time. Administration will be outside welcoming students into the building. Students are expected to sanitize their hands when entering the school and must have their mask on. Social distancing is expected throughout the entire day. Please bring a filled-up water bottle as water fountains/ water filling stations are not available.
Entrance J (student and staff parking lot) and entrance A (main front entrance) will be propped open for walkers or students being dropped off. All other doors will be locked.
Morning Prayer, Announcements start at 8:00 am.
If you have textbook from last year that you were not able to return please bring it to the table in the learning commons.
Late Students
All exterior doors will be locked at 8:10 am.
Students who are late must enter through the front door and will be let in when someone is available to open the door.
The school is closed to visitors. Please call the school to make an appointment.
Lunch
Students who are leaving for lunch are expected to leave the property. They will not be permitted to return to school. Students who are staying for study hall must eat their lunch in the classroom. No food is being served in the cafeteria and vending machines are not available. Students must sanitize their hands prior to eating lunch. Student are expected to wear their mask after eating lunch (20 mins).
Dismissal
Students from classrooms will be dismissed through an assigned door. It does not matter if they are getting picked up or taking the bus they must exit through the assigned door. There will be an announcement at 2:25 pm stating that the school is closed for students.
Guidance
Guidance is not receiving students face to face at this time. Table outside signs of Guidance counsellors with email addresses asking students to email appropriate guidance counsellor for appointment
Guidance will meet with students virtually.
Social workers will be meeting with students virtually.
Library
The Library closed for individual student use. Individual student laptops/Chromebooks are not being lent out. Students are encouraged to bring their own laptop if needed.

COVID-19 Self Assessment
I attest that I have completed my self-assessment and confirm that,
- I have not been in close contact with someone who is sick or has confirmed COVID-19 in the past 14 days without wearing the necessary PPE
- I have not travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days
- I do not have any of the following symptoms,
· Fever
· New or worsening cough
· Shortness of breath
· Difficulty breathing
· Sore throat
· Runny nose or nasal congestion without other known cause (in absence of underlying reasons for symptoms such as seasonal allergies and postnasal drip)
· Difficulty swallowing
· Decrease of loss of sense of taste or smell
· Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal pain
· Unexplained fatigue, malaise, or chills
· Headache - Note: headache should only be considered a COVID-19 symptom when it is non-typical for the individual or if it is typical for the individual and is accompanied by any other COVID-19 symptoms.
· Pink eye (conjunctivitis)
