Spirit Wear Day
Do you have school spirit? This Friday, June 5th is a school spirit wear day. Don’t forget to wear your spirit wear tops that represent your school teams and clubs from Saint Andre Bessette. Uniform bottoms are required.
Grad Day
Attention all graduating students. Grad Day is Thursday, June 4th at the school. Our celebration begins at 9:30am. Grad Day will be finished by 1:00pm and then all grade 12 students are excused for the day. You are encouraged to dress up for the day. You are not required to be in uniform. Lunch is provided. Bring a reusable water bottle.
Valedictorian
Attention all graduating students. You can now vote for your class valedictorian. Please use the link or QR code provided by your teacher. The link is also posted on the Grade 12 guidance VLE page. The QR code is posted in the front office and in guidance. Your valedictorian will be announced on June 4th at Grad Day.
SWIS Worker - Please leave message for every Tuesday.
If you are new to Canada this message may be for you. Today in room 107 our school SWIS worker is at Saint André Bessette. The SWIS Worker (The Settlement Workers in Schools Program) provides information and referrals to school and community-based resources to support the settlement process for newcomer families and students. Our SAB SWIS worker is named Layla. Come out and meet her if you have any questions.
Boys Soccer Jersey Return
A huge reminder to all boys soccer players that your jersey and kit MUST be returned by the end of the week to avoid deposit loss. Please hand them back to Mr. Pizzuti ASAP if you have not already done so.
Girls Basketball Club
Reminder, Girls Skills & Drills Basketball Club is back again this week, on Wednesday, June 3rd from 2:15-3:45. If you missed last week, not a worry! Come on by tomorrow to work on your shooting, dribbling & partake in live 3 on 3 games! If you have any questions, reach out to Mr. Scholtes.

Concert Band/Jazz Band
Tomorrow, the Concert Band and Jazz Band will have our end-of-year celebrations. Please try to make it to this after-school event so we can celebrate together and return your sheet music.
FOOTBALL
This message is for any and all athletes in grade 10,11 and 12 that are interested in trying out for the Senior Football Team. Whether you are a soccer player, basketball, hockey, or just want to give it a shot, all are encouraged to try. Tryouts will be held Thursday and Friday of this week and will continue into next week. If you want to see what football can offer you and be a part of something special then this opportunity is for you. No experience is required, please see Coach Payne, Lorusso or Bouchard as soon as possible to sign up. Again, all athletes looking to join the Senior Football Team, tryout begin on Thursday. Please sign up and see a coach prior as soon as possible.
ROBOTICS OUTREACH
This is a message to all robotics team members involved in the St. Paul robotics outreach. This week we will be travelling to St. Paul on Wednesday, leaving from the office at 10:10. We will also spend the whole day on Friday, playing with robots at Fanshawe. Please see Mr. Alexander if you have any questions!

MATHEMATICS AWARD
The Marquis Mathematics Award is a prize given to the graduating student who has demonstrated the greatest interest in, and aptitude for, the study of mathematics. The winner is selected from the pool of all qualified applicants. Applications are available on our St. Andre Bessette website – Mathematics Department or from Mr. Duffy in room 238. They are due on or before Monday, June 8th.
