Graduation 

Attention all grade 12 students. Please complete the form posted in the grade 12 VLE if you would like to request ONE additional ticket to graduation at Centennial Hall on Wednesday, June 25th at 7pm. All requests will be fulfilled on a first come first served basis. Each graduating student will receive TWO tickets to graduation. An additional ticket is not guaranteed. 

 

Lent Campaign 

Our Lent campaign is in full swing, and we are raising money for the organization Chalice to help support the Starehe girls' school in Nairobi Keenya. Please consider donating to the campaign. If you donate $5 to the campaign, you can receive an additional dress down day on April 8th. Go to School Cash Online and donate today. 

 

Scripture Study 

The Chaplaincy Team will have scripture study today in the chapel. All are welcome to come discuss and share faith. 

 

Fanshawe College Open House 

Students in Grade 10 and 11 who are interested in learning about the programs at Fanshawe College are encouraged to attend the Fanshawe Open House tomorrow.  Please see the Fanshawe website for details and the event scheduleThis is a great opportunity to start thinking about your post-secondary education. 

Old Hollywood Dance 

Good Morning Bulldogs! Are you ready for the most glamorous, gorgeous, and golden night of the year? Be prepared to walk on the red carpet in your best outfit at our Old Hollywood Semi-Formal Dance on April 3rd!

Baseball 

Attention all students who are interested in trying out for the varsity baseball team. Please attend a quick meeting at the start of first lunch on Tuesday April 1st in room 129. If you are unable to attend please see Mrs. Jarvis. You will not be able to participate in the tryout if you do not attend the meeting. 

Junior Badminton 

Congratulations to the members of the Junior Badminton team who represented SAB at Beal Secondary School yesterday in our second Quad Meet of the seasonOnce again, the Bulldogs finished with the best overall record earning 1st place finishes in 3 of the 5 eventsSpecial congratulations goes out to Jashvi Gajjar who won the Girls Singles event again this week, to Emily Ursic and partner Eric Jung who won the Mixed Doubles event, and to Estefania Sepulveda and Lola Grbic who took 1st in Girls Doubles.  The team is reminded of our next practice on Monday @ 2:20.

Social Justice ClubNext week, the Social Justice Club will be promoting a petition campaign, sponsored by Development and Peace. Peasants and rural communities around the world are the backbone of our food system, yet they often face land loss, unfair wages, and lack of resources. The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Peasants, known as UNDROP, protects their rights and promotes food sovereignty. By signing our petition, you can urge Canada to adopt UNDROP, or to pass due diligence legislation, ensuring fair treatment and support for those who grow our food
